Whistle Stop Auction Company

The Whistle Stop Auction Company is located in downtown Pikeville and hosts auctions most Friday evenings, unless otherwise announced.

Event Schedule

  • Doors open at 5:00 PM for item viewing

  • Auction begins at 6:45 PM

A full concession stand is available, serving Brightleaf hot dogs, homemade chili, and other food items.

Items available for auction are posted on the company’s Facebook page before each event. This popular local gathering is a great way to spend a Friday evening and connect with members of the community.

Town Board Meeting

Date: Third Tuesday of each month
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Town Hall, Town of Pikeville

Town Board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month beginning at 6:00 PM. Meetings take place at Town Hall and continue until all scheduled business has been completed.

Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Economic Development Visioning Forum

Begins: 6/9/2026
Ends: 6/9/2026 - 8:00 PM

Please join us for our Economic Development Forum on Tuesday, June 9th from 6pm until 8pm.  We will have Samantha Darlington from the NC Dept. of Commerce leading a discussion on what the community wants to see in our downtown and general economic development plan.  All interested stakeholders invited to attend.  Location is Town Hall.
